Dublin is the capital city of Ireland. The city is situated on the east coast of Ireland. The name ‘Dublin’ or dubh linn in Irish originated from a ‘blackpool’ which formed when the Poddle river met the river Liffey. later the city became known as Baile Atha Cliath which translates into ‘the fort of the hurdles’. This describes the pathways and layways surrounding the city of Dublin.

The weather in Dublin can be changeable so it’s important that you bring a windbreaker that a waterproof rain jacket. I find its easier to wear this as it can be quite windy in the city. The pubs and restaurants are very welcoming and you can always go to the Guinness visitors centre for a pint.
I hope you come to visit soon!
